Anaergia Singapore has signed a memorandum of understanding (“MOU”) with prominent South Korean environmental engineering company Jeongbaek and its affiliate Naju Green Tech SPC to jointly pursue an integrated anaerobic digestion project in Jeollanam-do—the heart of Korea’s agricultural industry.
The project aims to introduce advanced bio-treatment technology for processing large volumes of livestock manure and other organic waste in a high-performance anaerobic digestion facility. This initiative will support the region's sustainability goals and contribute to Korea's growing renewable energy sector.
Jeongbaek, a respected leader in environmental engineering in the region, established Naju Green Tech SPC to provide effective solutions for sewage sludge treatment in Naju City. Through this MOU, the three parties will work together to advance Jeollanam-do’s Integrated Bio-treatment Project, a key initiative aligned with the Korean government’s Biogas Promotion Act.
This collaboration marks an important milestone in providing environmentally friendly solutions for organic waste treatment and renewable energy generation. Anaergia remains committed to delivering sustainable, cutting-edge bioenergy solutions tailored to the Korean market, and to driving innovation and growth in the sector globally.
